i have no problem with this. its not like shaq is some sad player trying to cling to the former glory of his career *cough* AI *cough*. its pure publicity and goodwill. if it brings a little something to a small league in name recognition or monetary terms then thats cool. maybe some guys will look to play ball in mexico rather than europe one day. who knows.

It should be every bit as hysterical as watching Kobe score like 80 points in a Chinese celebrity game. I feel sorry for anybody who can’t get a laugh out of this.

Just my opinion, which is usually wrong (don’t believe me, just ask my wife), but I think he does nothing but tarnish his own reputation and the game if he does this. Other than a cheap publicity stunt, what’s the point? Then again, I’m guessing it won’t be “cheap”, at least not for Sergio Ganem.

Actually the Mexican league is not bad and it is growing… My brother played for the Mexican league and has made a good leaving… No he did not get paid in pesos it was us dollars
