Then he tried to get a job in peurto rico for $5,000 a week, and they turned him down.

Old and beyond washed up, no defense, doesn’t like to pass, very low fg %, too many turnovers, poor 3 pt. shooter, avg ft shooter, bad influence on the younger players, low rebounder (even as a sg), 5’11, overpaid, arrogant, will quit on your team 25 games in, (if miracle hypothetical he does not…) will def slow down come the playoffs, refuses to move/play off the ball / no team play / sets zero screens, disrespects the head coach, his last 3 teams he played for fared abysmally, will demand high minutes despite his predictable low production, fakes injuries…….

… oh but he was able to score alot of points 5 years ago.. MAN GET THIS GUY AN NBA CONTRACT! THE INJUSTICE!

A.I. learn from J.R. Don’t bring ya mamma. she gonna get tossed every night from area. Two, show up on time at PRACTICE or get fined a million bucks ( like J.R. ) Even Starbury had no sympathy for J.R. on that one.And three, ya’ll get all the barb-b-que ribs there ya can handle plus Dim Sum.Wear your chains, Chinese into bling big time, just don’t hang in Hong Kong, lots of gangs like to kidnap rich folks there who show off their $$$.

“the most overrated player in any sport ever”… that’s not absurd, it’s stupid! People always fail to realize that A.I. played 2 guard and NOT point guard. as a rookie he played pg and averaged 7.5, which is decent.

Iverson is a selfish me first player. He didn’t practice or carry himself the way he should have. But without a doubt he deserves to be in the HOF. He is 5 foot 11 inches and lead the NBA in scoring what 3 straight years. He carried a team to the finals that had no business being there(and if they called half the fouls they should have on Shaq he would have won it all that year). The sixers never brought him any real superstar talent to help him. Oh wait I’m sorry Glenn Robinson and Chris Weber what am I talking about.

How hard would it be for guys that still have name appeal to join and just play a traveling game. Maybe four teams of former stars that just can’t cut it in the NBA, go from city to city playing two games a team, winner vs winner and loser vs loser of the first two games.

Could be affordable and more of a draw than the globetrotters. Sounds like former players that are friendly would enjoy the company later in their career and still look good to comparable talent.

Good Riddance! Iverson has been the most overrated player in any sport ever, not to mention the biggest crybaby ever. Sorry but Iverson doesn’t deserve to play in the NBA nor does he belong in the Hall of Fame, just the Hall of Shame. Besides what NBA team could ever trust this flake to play an entire season instead of finding some excuse to flake out early and just take the money and run?
