Never said I wouldn't be.

I made that comment because you and I both know good and well the Heat will not play him...ever! Heat always claim they need a C (and do) but when they get one they always stay welded to the bench in favor of small ball. No? Curry, Pittman, J. Howard, Dampier , Igauskas.

And who always ends up playing the 5? PF's? Haslem, Bosh, Turiaf, 6''9 Joel Anthony? Yup. Look at all those guys I named in the 1st paragraph from the last two seasons they had but almost never used, with the exception of Big Z until the end of the season and playoffs when he stayed nailed to the pine.

I think if someone wants to continue to make a living and fulfill a lifelong dream of playing and staying in the NBA maybe you should try to sign with a team that will actually use you or have a use for you. That way you get your oppertunity to showcase what you got that way when the seasons up and the Heat enevitably don't re-sign you there are other teams that have seen your work and might want to give you a go, thus prolonging your career. He's too young to be ring chasing right now. He's a scrub that needs a shot to prove himself if he wants to get paid for more then one season, and you know damn well he won't get into any games with that team.

Now if the Heat are the ONLY team even considering giving him an invite then that's one thing, that would mean he has NO other options, thus making it a good move 'cause it's the last one he gots, but I have a feeling other teams are eyeballing him too.

To hell with this dude. Miami doesn't even know what to do with a big man. Much less one that is a bum. Grab Blatche for nothing. He has been humbled and is actually a good player. he has role models on the team that control the locker room. And he comes dirt cheap. You won't even have to give him a guaranteed contract. How can Miami not go after him? And if Bosh goes down you have a serviceable player to step in and go right to work.

I totally agree, although I think guys like Haslem and Miller, coming off injuries, were hurt by the lockout more than anybody else, rookies notwithstanding. No rehab or conditioning with team trainers, no work with team coaches. Haslem is a prideful guy and no fool, so you have to think he's been working on it during the offseason. You could see that his form had drifted from where it used to be. Just as troubling was how slow he was to gather and finish at the rim. Haslem has never been an explosive player, but unless he was wide open (by about 10 feet), he couldn't elevate to save his life. Here's hoping he comes back strong, but if not... his role is in jeopardy.
