This can only be good for the league by having a true minor league with each team having a farm system. You dont have to get rid of depth on the bench in place of a young kid who has potential. You can groom kids in the minors to be professionals. Hopefully the NBA can develop a minor league system on par with baseball were one day you have multiple levels of minor leagues.
And while it might hurt the college game , you can get rid of the 19 year old age requirement and let these kids turn pro instead of wasting time in college programs for one season. And really, who cares about the NCAA, they just use these kids and make billions without sharing the money.

The reason's Atlanta's team is in LA b/c like everything else, they try and be a mini- LA. Appreciate the attempt at imitation but stick to waving the confederate flag, fried foods and deliverance.

First, why is Atlanta's team in LA? Think they could have planned that out better. Second, if it does become more prevelant for teams to send their players to D-League after draft to develop, wouldnt many of those players want to stay in college for those years instead where they could shine in a bigger spot light while developing?
