GET IT DONE SEATTLE!!! Always enjoyed watching GP, Kemp (early years of course), X-Man, Chambers, Schrempf, and the Big Smooth during the late 80s and early 90s. Unfortunately, that city is missing out on what has become the Thunder. Again, GET IT DONE SEATTLE!!!

Va Beach could use Norfolk Scope. The “Hampton Roads Rhinos” (almost NHL team) was going to use it until their new arena was built.

Its not as much as the Mariners as it is the Port of Seattle thats opposing the arena, the mariners are sorta riding the coat tails of the port’s stance….

Mariners don’t have enough fans right now for it to be an issue. They should be worried about winning games again and restoring their fans’ trust, then maybe they can worry about this.

The Mariners shouldn’t be all that worried. MLB and the NBA don’t have a lot of overlap in their schedules. Besides, to me it makes more sense to have all of your stadiums in one dedicated area, like they do in Philadelphia for instance. It’s a good model, so long as the parking situation isn’t too difficult to figure out.
