Ibaka isn't a great on-ball defender but bails out his teammates by blocking and altering shots. He has a credible jump shot and has improved steadily every year, which is key when deciding how much a young player is worth.

Only downside is that with the commitment to keep Harden, it'll be extremely difficult - if not impossible - for the Thunder to add a true low-post scorer, which is something they're missing. Jump shots are fickle - ask James Harden, who in the first round of the playoffs shot 50%, in the second round shot 36%, in the Western Conference Finals shot 50%, and in the NBA Finals shot 37%.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Harden go. In the playoffs, teams learned that if he doesn't shoot a 3, he's going to the rim, which resulted in a lot of charges. Also, the Thunder learned how valuable a 6th man is in the playoffs when all starters play 40+ minutes a game. Hopefully, they'll get something for him at the deadline and Harden will land in a place where he can make a decent team better.

$12 mil for a guy that plays 27 mins a game and doesn't even average a double double seems like a lot but good for him.
