boogy...what an uninformed, unread, clueless fan, that just emerged from under a rock!

Dude, you claim, kobe's teammates never say this stuff.....ALMOST ALL OF HIS TEAMMATES HAVE SAID HE WAS A SELFISH BALLHOG !!!
1. Shaq
2. Karl Malone
3. Robert Horry
4. Derrick Fisher
5. Rick Fox
6. Gary Payton
7. Bynum

That names a few ! I'm sure you can Youtube or Google each of their comments.

Let's not forget Phil Jackson detailed the issues in his book. Basically said the guy was un-coachable. He only went back to the team because the owners daughter became his buddy....ahahahaa

Nash will not be able to run that offense...neither can play D anymore against elite guards. This is going to be comical ....I promise to enjoy every moment of them getting SPANKED !!!

No go play in the dirt and leave FACTUAL dialogue to the grown folk in the room !

A leader last year?

How many times did he publicly throw Gasol under the buss as well as Bynum on a few occasions last year...

I can't think of any other player in the league who made so many negative comments about his teammates play last year and a lot of the media get fooled into thinking that's leadership.

And this coming from someone who shot .43 from the field last year and played half-hearted defense on numerous occasions. Yet the way he was hyped by the NBA, media and his endorsers last year you'd think he took the team to the Finals.

Read any quality, well researched book on the Lakers and this kinda of stuff is just the tip of the iceberg.

The definition of a leader is someone who makes his teammates better through encouragement, play, leadership and support.

If you've read any quality books on the Lakers or followed the team closely in the media you know Kobe has rarely ever been a leader with the exception of his individual play despite the media's, NBA's and his endorsers attempts to craft his public image as a leader.

Take off your purple and gold goggles for once!

As long as he gets a majority of the shots, all Will be well, if not , look out.

If anyone honestly believes Kobe is a leader and/or unifier for the Lakers, they obviously never saw "Kobe Doin' Work" or read Phil Jackson's "The Last Season." Doesn't mean he's not a great player, but fans are simply making up something they assume is true that the facts really don't exist if they think he's a good leader.

I'm sick of hearing about this coexist stuff with Kobe. Last year he was arguably the best leader for his team in the whole league. He was always supportive for his teammates and was their biggest fan when he sat out the end of the season. He DID make those around him better.

How did Kobe and Fisher work as leaders together? Kobe respects other smart players, and Nash and him make the smartest backcourt in the league. It won't be a problem at all, and they will both be leaders as always.

People like Henry Abbott and Skids003 need to start watching basketball before they say anything. Kobe's teammates never say this stuff, just dumb fans and the media.
