Deron Williams has not been terrible for Team USA at all, for stretches he outplayed Chris Paul, especially in the tune-ups.

Ok First off the last two season the Knicks have been completely banged up in the playoffs.. Second the knicks easily are the mst talented team top to bottom in the league with that roster… Putting all of that talent together has been the problem… Raymond felton, ronnie brewer, carmelo anthony, tyson chandler starters.. Jason kidd, jr smith, marcus camby, steve novak, kurt thomas and when e comes back iman shumpert who will start instead of brewer… Who is deeper thN that? Noone… Does it mean the knicks will win a championship, of course not but they will win te Tatlantic and be a 3 seed and be atleast 8 games ahead of the nets who only added joe johnson to a team with what 22 wins last year maybe? The knicks will rule NY and will make a run at the title “if healthy” no doubt about it..

as a nets season ticket holder I would LOVE a 4-5 match up in the playoffs. It’s possible…

definites being:
Miami
Boston
Indiana

Then you have philly making down grades rather than upgrades to their roster.

You still have Chicago as a mystery team with rose out half the season and breaking apart bench.

new York and Brooklyn can easily slip right into the middle with their star play.

JJ > whoever replaces Landry Fields
G Wallace (not Henderson Kurt) < Carmelo Anthony
Kris Humphries < STAT (slight edge)
Brook Lopez >> Nets top 5 bench players (Marshon Brooks, Mirza Teletovic, CJ Watson, Reggie Evans, Keith Bogans)

The Nets have a well built team and they should be third in the east behind boston and miami, with a small chance to make the finals. The Knicks aren’t even close to that level and in a playoff series they won’t give any of those teams problems.

“Marcus Camby, Kurt Thomas and Jason Kidd are not game changers” Kurt, leave those drugs alone! True the guys are at the ends of their careers but they can still hoop. Have you seen what Camby and Kurt Thomas always brings to the table? Their gonna play limited minutes, thats a given, but effective minutes and in the playoffs those 3 guys have tremendous basketball IQ. I love D Wills game but Joe Johnson chokes in the playoffs, you cant teach leadership, either u got or u dont. Remember, Woody knows Joe’s tendencies more than any other coach still in the league, if these team met in a series my loots on the old guys….
