They would have 4 of the top 5 picks.
Pistons were dumb for not picking Melo. At the time they didn’t need him, but never draft for need – draft the best player available.

Oh, yes they do need a center. Maybe not to get out of the East. But to beat my LAKERS in the Finals they’re gonna need some size. Bosh and LeBron can’t match up with Pau and Bynum/D12.

You always add size when possible. Darko will probably just sit at the end of the bench but should something ever happen it would be nice to put James at the 3 to cause size mismatches and Bosh at the 4.
You forget that James called the playoffs last year a learning experience and he admitted that he took a heavy beating playing the 4 position against players taller and just as big as him. You don’t want to wear out your star player in the regular season

Well the one team he mentioned, Miami Heat, has already used their mini-mid-level exception and they’re over the cap and supposedly not making money so I doubt they can sign Darko to anything but a minimum contract. Not to mention WHY THE HELL WOULD THEY SIGN DARKO WHEN THEY JUST WON A CHAMPIONSHIP ONLY PLAYING CENTERS 10 MINUTES IN THE ENTIRE NBA FINALS?!?!?!

They don’t need a center is my point. LeBron is now a power forward and Bosh is the center.
