Nate Robinson, attitude? Lets see . . . . . . being arrested for urinating in public, a second citation for relieving himself in public, his endless traffic violations in NY (arrested for driving w/no license – yes, he was pulled over during the FIFTH TIME they State of NY suspended his license), having arrest warrants issued for failure to appear, arguing with the coach to the point where he was benched for games on end . . . . . . .

His attitude may make teams want to consider other options. I hope he gets it together.

What is it that they are setting themselves up for?

If you really believe that the collection of stiffs that they are bringing in is as good as the players that have left town then you are just the kind of guy that the Bulls front office is looking for when tickets go on sale.

Nate is a great pick up, having seen him play first hand in NY, he is fearless, and one of the stronger guards in the league. Just go back and see video of him with the Celtics and you’ll see proof that with the right coach and mix of players he is coachable. The Bulls backcourt with Hinrich and Robinson is better than CJ Watson, Ronnie Brewer and John Lucas III

As a Chicagoan now living in Seattle area for last 20yrs I watched Nate from high school to college and now the pros,I can assure you bulls fans he will be explosive off the bench and can score in bunches. I think when the offense goes stagnant he can get his own shot or draw the defender and pass, I don’t believe anyone off the bench over pass couple of years could consistently do that. Congrats bulls fans your gonna enjoy his play guaranteed.

Low risk pick up. I don’t know what it is about Nate’s attitude that makes no team want to commit to him but he’s got to be doing something. Far lesser players have gotten far greater commitments from organizations so there has to be something about Nate’s attitude that is causing this. Good pick up though. Nate’s got a lot to prove so maybe the Bulls catch lightning in a bottle. The way I see it, Nate is capable of helping a team in 10 to 15 wins a year. Don’t believe me check his track record. He’s capable of being a surprise 15-20 in a night and really having a impact in those games. Problem is Nate’s bone head antics also can cost a team a game. As long as the good outweighs the bad (a big question mark), the Bulls got themselves a good band aid till Rose returns next season…if he returns next season!

A ‘meh’ off-season? Nate Robison is a clear upgrade over JLIII and could argue he’s better than Cj Watson. Heinrich is an upgrade over Watson for sure, Asik wasn’t worth the money and Muhummed isn’t a terrible replacement. Korver and the guy from New Orleans is practically a wash. They’ve basically stayed at the same level IMO while trimming money from the payroll and setting themselves up for bigger things once Rose comes back.

I love watching this little dude ball! He gives you his all on the court. When he was w/ the Knicks he was like a big hyper kid but you had to love him. After Boston he just sorta disappeared in GS so I’m happy that he’ll be with the Bulls!

It leads me to believe that they are less than thrilled w/ drafting Teague

Well since Nate played in Boston before on that Finals Team, him and Thibbs should already have a relationship and he should be able to handle him well enough

I have to express a small gripe: I know its easier to write a Bulls story with a date in mind for D-Rose’s return, but reporting March as a return date is irresponsible because it is based on purely speculation. I love KC Johnson, but he doesn’t have meaningful insight at this point into when Rose will return, no one does. Really like this signing for the Bulls. Point guards tend to produce in the Bulls offense and Nate Robinson has a lot of talent.

As crazy as that little guy is, he’s a pretty decent player and he can score in bunches. If Thibs can get him to play some D, I’m good with it.

I love Nate, when he was traded from the Cs it was definitely a sad day (this was very much a heart over head sadness). I hope it works out for him, presumably he and Thibs know each other well from Boston, for good or bad.
