Clearly you are the one that doesn’t watch basketball as the knicks have been in the playoffs the past 2 years. Once against the Celtics in 2011 and this year against the Heat in the magical year of 2012. Yes genius it is 2012 not 2011, unless you think I am messaging you from the future. But way to remind people that Wikipedia is not the replacement for actual knowledge on a subject, tool.

Some teams, like Indiana, can offer a little more money if they want. Or does he want to go to a big market and a good team like New York or Brooklyn.

I don’t have a problem with calling the Knicks and the Nyets good teams– they are. Great teams, certainly not. They should both be good, though. Both look like playoff teams if they’re healthy.

My problem is the presumption that Indiana ISN’T a good team. They may not be a great team either, but last time I checked they went to the playoffs last year and gave Miami a tough series. The Pacers deserve just as much respect as either New Yawk team– playing in a big market doesn’t give them any more credibility on the court.

I like Josh, but he isn’t really a fit for this team. I don’t want anyone else who will take time away from Berks or Hayward.

It’s funny to watch people talk like they know so muck. The Knicks are my team. 2 years ago they got swept by Boston after Amar’e and Billups were hurt. THIS year they lost 4-1 to the eventual champs in Miami.

Both the knicks and nets should be better if their players stay on the court. Brooke Lopez played a total of 5 games last year so the nets are hardly the same 20 win team. What makes Joe Johnson washed up?? I think ppl mistake awful contract for his level of play he is still the same player he has been for the past several seasons. He is a good second option not number one as he was in atl.

Brooke Lopez can score some times but hes like the rest of the Nets they can’t rebound or play any defense.

Joe Johnson can’t create his own shot any longer or play any kind of defense so yes he is washed up.

You’re both right and wrong.
NYK and Nets are by no means contenders – you’d have to think their chances of winning the chip are nowhere near Dallas’ 2011 – but they are both good teams. NYK went to the playoffs for the second straight year but youre right – they won 1 game altogether. Nets are the same team as they were last year plus Joe Johnson but now they’ll have their starting 5 of DWill, Joe, Crash, Kardashian and Lopez set thru training camp. Also, how many games did Lopez play last year? And G-Force was a mid-season pickup…

I never knew Brooklyn or New York was a good team.

New York finally went to the playoffs for the 1st time last year in God knows how long and Brooklyn is the same team as the 20 win team last year but they added Joe Johnson who is washed up don’t think I would call either team a good team.
