Scott, first time watching Sullinger this summer? Here is the real deal. Sullinger had one bad game out of 10 for the Celts in TWO summer leagues over the last 2 weeks. He is the low post presence he appeared to be in college. He will be put through Doc’s conditioning and be a big presence for this Celtics teams. Thomas Robinson had a decent game, but Sullinger clearly has a high upside and will make a bigger impact on a playoff team.

I watched the game. Sullinger struggled on offense. He rebounded well and can pass. Hes a basketball player. His game is comp to K Loves a wide body with soft hands can shoot. If he works on his conditioning and core strength, he can be a starter in 2 years. He will contribute this year. Go Celtics.

What does his agent and or management team have anything to do with that? Him not coming out was his own decision as he didn’t have an agent or management team in college. You hire them once you declare.

i’m not gonna take any preseason performance seriously. i’ll wait until real bullets are flying. last year, during the carolina panthers’ preseason, cam newton looked like a guy who might get cut and be out of the league in a few years based on his preseason performance.

no one really remembers those days anymore after his 1st game as an nfl pro.

Sully should fire his agent and mgmt team. He would have been a top 5 pick as a freshman but stayed in college and showed everyone he’s an unathletic, below the rim guy with a bad back. BOS reached, Sully should have fallen to the 2nd round IMO.

How do you make the above statement than say this “It’s tough to make too much of a Summer League performance.” I would rather take the guy who showed up for several games as appose to one if I’m going to base anything off summer league games.

Jared is a huge steal he a potential lottery pick probably around 7 but because of his health he was dropped all the way to Boston
