Ryan Hollins agrees to deal with Clippers

Looks like the Clippers have found their backup center behind DeAndre Jordan.

Ryan Hollins has agreed to terms with Los Angeles, his agent tweeted (via Scott Howard-Cooper of NBA.com).

Hollins started last season with the Cavaliers but was waived by them and picked up by Boston, where he played in a couple games. With the Clippers he is the No. 2 center and with Jordan’s history it could mean Hollins would get fairly significant minutes this next season.

Still wouldn’t pick him up for your fantasy team, but he could play more next season in Los Angeles. The Clippers will start Jordan and Blake Griffin, then bring Lamar Odom and Hollins off the bench. Not bad. Not bad at all.

Rather get Darko, but it will suffice.

That’s unfortunate for the Clippers. He has a solid game if you dont count shooting, or passing, or dribbling, or rebounding, or blocking. He’s clutch at fouling and dribbling the ball off of his foot. Great at waving a towel too.

I’m surprised that the Clippers are worried about Deandre Jordan.

Hollins is hands down the most worthless player not just in the league but to ever play the sport of basketball. The only talent he has is being tall and he kinda sucks at that.

I’ve seen a lot of average players get traded to great teams; the key to success is to be surrounded by a lot of talented players to help you along and the Clips got this covered. This might work out well and Hollins could become a real asset. The Clips look great going into the season–can’t wait for it to start.
