The Celtics have really blown themselves apart. First, they let loose Ray Allen, signed Green to a crazy 40 million, now they will let ST walk as well to Minnesota. Hoping to get that Darko M center that Minnesota is letting go, that ST is going to replace.

The Rockets offered Linsanity a ridiculous money that will put the Knicks in a potential bind, now they have shot themselves on the foot with that offer for an unproven player.

The crazy world of free agency. Maybe they should be able to trade General Managers like players.

Stiemsma is the man! In his junior year of high school at the state tournament he had a 1 on 1 fast break and he faked the defender out by dribbling behind his back and threw down a nice dunk. The kid might have been 5’11″ and mid way through puberty but it was still pretty cool. He played at a D4 school in Wisconsin and to say he was a man among boys was quite the understatement.

Yeah I didnt know there were front runners for 10th men on rosters. Steimsma was a nice story coming from the d league last year. But he has no offense whatsoever and is completely lost guarding the pick & roll.

Basically he is your 3rd center or PF. 3 million is a lot for him.

Hmmmm…. Pek and Stiem. Do you get the feeling there is another somewhat-funny-but-rather-lame commercial coming up? Considering what they popped out last year, I think the HS AV team they employ is giggling through their retainers right now.
