He has a lot of Glenn Robinson and early (black hole) Melo in him. Needs to work on his handles and move without the ball better. He will be great. He’s still just 20.

I live 20 minutes from Ames, IA, and watched Barnes play in high school. He’s a phenomenal kid, first and foremost. Think along the lines of DRose and KDurant. Very humble, very coachable. I have to laugh at all the haters who think this kid will be a bust. There’s absolutely no way that will happen, unless he buys a motorcycle and does a Jay Williams. He’s simply got too much game. He’s still a kid, physically. Give him two seasons to put on 25 pounds of muscle, and you’ll have another Scottie Pippen.
