I loved Jacque Vaughn back when he used to play for the Kansas Jayhawks, and as a NBA player he had his moments, but this is a major headscratcher. I really don’t know anything about him as a coach so I can’t say this is horrible but this doesn’t look like a step in the right direction for the Magic. From SVG to…Jacque Vaughn?? Huh?

Or a scapegoat as someone to can two years down the road when their record is abysmal. I think Shaw would be a great coach, and he can’t get a sniff. Is ORL going the cheap route with Vaughn?

They want a coach that played in the league before to help with the youth the magic are looking to start over with.
