I would say Steve Nash and stockton goes hand and hand not Calderon…in addition Rubio is better than Calderon for Spain.

john stockton…are you serious? calderon is 30 years old there is no comparison between he and stockton. let him make an all star game or average 10 assists a game before you start comparing him to a hall of famer

his biggest problem is when his shots fall in the first half, he goes crazy in the second half even if he is missing big time.. I’ve seen him take the team out of a game in the third quarter too many times. He is not a clutch shooter or ball handler when the game is on the line, way too many turnovers in last 3 minutes of close games.His D is much better now than when he came in the league. He is a starter of half the teams , backup for the rest. Yes, he and Gasol can hable espanol , pero Kobe no te gusto. Lo siento. Hasta la vista baby..

The Nash trade to the Lakers makes them better, yet if I were a GM my preference would have been Calderon over Nash simply on the age and health. Then again, I am not a GM and I am here on the boards passing time.

Before Nash was traded to the Lakers I would have said he’d be a perfect fit there. I still he would be as a backup since the Lakers bench is still a horror show.
