I detect a note of sarcasm in these comments.
As a Boston fan who watches every game, however, I am quite pleased with this move. Wilcox has good hands and knows how to move without the ball and he had developed good chemistry with Rondo on the fast break. The more slashers on this team, the more devastating the offense.
If Wilcox and Bass step up their defense a tad this year, which they will after a year in the system, the Celtics will once again be the most underrated team in the East. Just one game from knocking off Miami this year, and the Celtics were way more devastated by injuries. Look out.

I think the Celtics need to re-sign Pietrus for the biannual exception and work some magic to acquire Courtney Lee. If they can do both of those things, they are legit contenders against anyone, Heat included.
