There is going to be more Shaquille O’Neal on your television.

Sorry, there is nothing we can do to stop it. Just don’t watch it and hopefully it goes away fast.

Shaq has a new show that has been green lit, according to the Hollywood Reporter (via SLAM).

TruTV has greenlighted “Upload with Shaquille O’Neal,” a series centered on the former basketball star scouring the Internet in search of the funniest online videos to comment on as well as creating his own viral videos and parodies. He will be joined on-screen by host Gary Owen (Think Life a Man) and Godfrey (The Mr. Men Show).

Shaq goes Tosh O. Watch at your own risk. I’ll choose grainy replays of decade-old Summer League games, personally.

The good thing about today’s media landscape, if we all ignore something, it goes away. That will work with this show. Not Shaq, however.

So it’s like Tosh.0, but not funny?

    • norcal031 - Jul 12, 2012 at 2:32 PM

      Tosh. O is not funny.

I hate to be the person that does this. But come on man proofread your stuff. Especially on such a short article. What is that like 3 extra seconds? It’s not like you are rushing to be the first to publish especially since you are using a quote from another source.

Now if only America would stop watching the Kardashians life would be great.

Or like Ridiculousness… how many of these do we need?

  5. acdc363 - Jul 12, 2012 at 1:13 PM

    Tosh.O > Ridiculousness > the dunk 2012 dunk contest > Shaq’s new show

  6. howardforvezina - Jul 12, 2012 at 1:26 PM

Tosh.O is a stupid massively perverted show and not funny at all. Do not compare Shaq to a pervert.

A show that would have been better:

    ‘Shaq mumbles through Shakespeare”

When are TV execs going to realize that Shaq isn’t what he was cracked up to be, in terms of a TV personality? Sure he was great for a few soundbites after games, but from what I’ve seen he’s been pretty awful on TNT.

    • elcomandanteenjefe - Jul 12, 2012 at 2:35 PM

Pretty awful on TNT is a VERY SIGNIFICANT understatement. He actually turned a decent half time show into a colossal TURD!

  9. magicbucs - Jul 12, 2012 at 2:07 PM

A Charles Barkley show would be million times better. C’mon chuck!!

    • stayhigh_247 - Jul 12, 2012 at 2:22 PM

No it wouldn’t it would be turrible! just plain ol’ turrrible!!!

I was expecting a TV series based on Kazaam, so this is a pleasant surprise.

They should just video tape shaq in a cap and gown graduating from some college somewhere….

Has no one heard of Tosh.0? its the exact same show with an amazing comedian as host instead of an ignorant loudmouth.
