Deron Williams uses his best moves to avoid Howard questions

Deron Williams knew what was coming.

The second the media was allowed to ask questions of the Team USA participants this at Monday’s practice in Las Vegas (where D-Will is part of the London-bound squad), he knew what he was about to be asked.

What is up with Dwight Howard? When will Dwight Howard be a Brooklyn Net? Have you spoken to Dwight Howard? And so on.

D-Will used some veteran moves to dodge really answering those questions, based on what we saw from Sekou Smith at NBA.com’s Hangtime blog.

“What about Dwight. I don’t know anything. I just hear rumors and speculation….

“There have been a lot of rumors over the past year where he is concerned, so early on I concerned myself with it,” Williams said, “but now you just have to let it play out. And whatever happens, happens. I think we’ll have a good team without him and I think we’ll have an even better team with him. But the situation is tricky.”

He should have tap dance music playing in the background as he answers these questions.

But by tomorrow, he may be answering very different Dwight Howard questions. With a smile on his face.

I really don’t believe Deron knows anymore than anyone else what Orlando is going to do. I think they are talking to the wrong guy, they should be asking Hennigan those questions.

Hopefully he is already smiling. With Dwight on our squad we are at minimum top four in the East.

You ball for the Nets (since you are using all this we)? Just busting balls here man… but yes, the Nets should be a top four team in the East along with the Bulls, Celtics, and Heat. The Bulls are questionable since the injury to Rose, but they can probably get the number 1 seed again with the grinder of a coach. If the Nets do get Howard, the Knicks will be looking at another decade of irrelevance!!! AWESOME!!! Better believe that as a Heat fan living in NYC, I will most certainly be adopting the Nets… the Brooklyn Nets that is!

The Nets with Joe and Deron andGerald and Lopez and Hump would give the Heat trouble. With Howard I think they would be better if they just sign scrubs like the Heat did.

This team is gonna be so lame. Over rated point gaurd, cry baby center and Joe Johnson. most overpaid trio in decades, coming right up.
