You gave your all to the Clippers . Good team mate , came ready to play every game , and understood your role . I bet the Grizzlies wished you never played for the Clipps . In that fifth game in Memphis you shot three straight three’s to bring back the Clips from the dead . it was awesome . Good luck in Philly !
A one year six million dollar contract ? I understand it’s was an offer too good to pass up .

There is so little downside to one year deals. This is another decent piece for Collins to move around the chess board. Ceiling for the team is probably the 4 seed, but floor is probably the 8 seed, with or without Iggy.

At least it’s only a one year deal.They are keeping the door open for bigger changes in the next couple of years should opportunities arise.

They already have Kobe Bryant…
The Lakers need wing defenders (assuming MWP is traded or amnestied or takes a step back) and spot up shooters, as well as depth in the frontcourt.
Think about a guy like Shane Battier, and what he was able to do for the Heat. That would be the best fit for the Lakers at this point, since MWP can’t really shoot anymore, and is a bit slower on defense. Or Grant Hill – that would be amazing for them.

Williams is a shooting guard who cant defend but likes to take shots and score…why would they need that when they already have Kobe? And Kobe never really gets injured or appreciates being under-utilized/on the bench, so it’s not like they need much depth at that position.
