The NBA had morphed into a choose up game with players calling the shots. No wonder attendance and ratings are down. Bunch of over paid babies and the owners aren’t much better.

I’ve got a feeling he’s going to re-up with the Nets, though I don’t think it’s a very good basketball move. All of the swirling smoke about Dwight Howard being traded there is just that–smoke. There’s no guarantee or anything close to it. And if Howard doesn’t get traded to the Nets, then Williams is stuck in a black hole of a franchise that has no prospects of contending for a title. Dallas, on the other hand, is a mostly set roster. They are a consistent contender in the West.

The Nets have been around since the 1970′s, the ABA and Dr. J. Yes they have moved to different areas around the metro NYC area but they have been here a long time. The Mavericks began in the 1980-81 season.
