I’m not a Duke fan, but I like how Coach K gets his players to play. They are almost always great role players in the NBA, with the occasional star.

If he can come off the bench and provide some scoring while the starters are resting, he’ll be worth bringing in.

Of course they would…. but it’s not about beating me. It’s about not wasting the number 26 pick in draft on a guy that averages 6 rebounds a game and misses countless layups. With Perry Jones available and Moultrie still on the board Plumlee is a terrible pick. There seems to be a few teams that always manage to keep 2-3 “fan favorites” on their team no matter. 26 was a great spot to take a chance on Perry Jones instead of drafting a guy that could not out class smaller college players. Again… what was your favorite Miles Plumlee moment??? Plumlee should have been a 2nd round pick.

They’d both beat you one on one, easy. People forget just because they’re not all stars in the NBA, but these guys are all really good players.

I wouldn’t say Duke players are never popular elsewhere….. there are a lot of so called Pacers fans that are just giddy about Mild Plumcantplay and his 6 rebounds a game. Singler like Plumlee will be an instant “fan favorite”……. with all the usual code words…. plays hard…. hustles….. smart…. all while not being able to play at all.
