Hibbert can’t play on the team because he previously represented Jamaica in an international competition. He’s trying to get released from those obligations because he could definitely contribute to the US Olympic team but it’s really out of his hands.

Just so you know, it wasn’t like argentina and spain weren’t in there with their NBA players, they couldn’t get past the competition to get to the gold medal round, so i wouldn’t be too worried about it.

I would take the roster beneath remove Lamar because he’s lazy, add Chris Paul and Derron Williams for Rose and Billups because they are injured. Scratch Steph Curry too so he can rest and add Kobe Bryant. Start Tyson at center, LeBron at 4 Durrant at 3 Kobe at 2 and Westbrook at 1 and you can run and gun all day long… or you can stretch the floor and shoot threes and 15 foot jump shots. Either way the “b team” went and dominated the world, whether or not the worlds best was able to make it to the gold medal round to contend with them is not “the b team”‘s problem….

Bosh made the right choice- nobody who isn’t 100% should be playing in the Olympics. Team USA will be just fine.

Um, in case you are unaware of the team that won the FIBA world Championship, not a single guy from the 2008 Olympic gold team went to the World Championships and got the gold for us…it was considered “the b team”…they went in there and spanked everybody…no Bosh, no Wade, no LeBron, no Kobe….these olympics will not suck…they are fueled by the playoff race the NBA just had and you’ll see LeBron, Kevin Durrant, Westbrook, Kevin Love,Tyson Chandler, Kobe, Chris Paul, absolutely just dominate everybody.

No one is hatin on wade. he made silly statements than backed off from them. To my knowledge Bosh never said he need money to play for USA.
