I think Rivers would be better off trying to pattern his game after his father than after Kobe. He’s no where near the athlete Kobe is.

coach k is just doing what he does: being an epic coach and a decent guy sticking up for a former player. the irony is that the one coach who is perfectly suited for the job of really developing rivers into an nba ready player would have been coach k.
