Jun 10, 2012, 5:56 PM EDT

Kevin Durant, LeBron James AP

It’s the Heat and the Thunder. Kevin Durant vs. LeBron James. Midwest vs. the East Coast.

With the Heat taking their time getting past the Celtics they do not have a lot of turnaround time before Game 1. Here is the schedule for the NBA finals. Remember that the finals are played in a 2-3-2 format.

All the times are Eastern and all the games are on ABC here in the States. Obviously, every game from Game 5 on is if necessary.

Game 1 – Tuesday at Oklahoma City 9:00PM (ABC)
Game 2 – Thursday at Oklahoma City 9:00PM (ABC)
Game 3 – Sunday at Miami 8:00PM (ABC)
Game 4 – June 19 at Miami 9:00PM (ABC)
Game 5 – June 21 at Miami 9:00PM (ABC)
Game 6 – June 24 at Oklahoma City 8:00PM (ABC)
Game 7 – June 26 at Oklahoma City 9:00PM (ABC)

Thanks for the game 5 reminder thing, I forgot about that at this point in the playoffs..

  2. morgan420 - Jun 10, 2012 at 6:56 PM

OKC! I think they deserve it more then the heat they’ve played better teams

    • borderline1988 - Jun 10, 2012 at 7:46 PM

San Antonio is the only good team they faced. Boston and Indiana were just as good if not better than the Lakers and Mavs.

        you’re absolutely crazy.

  3. mannyfresh209 - Jun 10, 2012 at 7:07 PM

Gonna be such a great series

  4. isujames - Jun 10, 2012 at 7:23 PM

    Heat in 5.

    • db105 - Jun 11, 2012 at 3:17 AM

The Heat won 70% of their games vs the league during the season. What makes you think they’ll 4 out 5 games (80%) vs an elite team?

      • soflasfinest - Jun 11, 2012 at 8:37 AM

Hey smart guy okc won ONE more game than the heat during the regular season.

  5. letangusespertplus - Jun 10, 2012 at 8:10 PM

heat could barely beat boston in 7 and you think they will run through a west coast champ in 5….

  6. philyeagles5 - Jun 10, 2012 at 8:36 PM

mistake by the Lake ! Here’s your score board

Cavs :Next 10 years rebuilding to make first round playoffs
Bowns: Getting smackdown from both Steelers and Ravens every year for ever.
Indians: Yankees got CC , another 50 years to wildcard playoff round
Hockey : round up all the bars, you’ll get a decent team of bouncers, thugs, and gang enforcers.
Weather : Need Tsunami to wash entire city down to Tenn. Al Gore can sell you some moonshine.

    Y’all trippin!’
The Heat have Bosh back and also, they have finals experience…therefore I give Miami the edge! Miami in 6 or 7! It’s gonna be tough though!

    • istillbelieveinblue - Jun 11, 2012 at 8:15 AM

The Bills had Superbowl experience too, 3 times.

  9. Great Caesar's Ghost - Jun 10, 2012 at 9:45 PM

    Heat in 3. It’s a strike-shortened season, remember?

  10. hojo20 - Jun 10, 2012 at 9:45 PM

I’ll be on ProBasketball Talk the days after games to get the recaps/highlights. Working stiffs like me can’t stay up for these 9pm starts.

    • istillbelieveinblue - Jun 11, 2012 at 8:20 AM

Yeah man, my alarm goes off around 5:30 (not ridiculously early for a lot of people, I know) so no way am I staying up until midnight to watch these games.

And I thought Miami was considerd the south, not east coast.

I love this time of year. My mom and I aren’t very close anymore but she invites me to her house to watch the playoff games. She only watches playoff basketball and I can’t blame her; so many great games this postseason.

And if your wondering, her favorite player is Steve Nash. She has a bit of a basketball crush on him.

    • BigBeachBall - Jun 11, 2012 at 5:05 AM

  14. xxbomberxx - Jun 11, 2012 at 11:07 AM

    • southbeachtalent - Jun 11, 2012 at 12:13 PM
