You didn’t use the phrase “coming out of the draft.” Go look at your post. The Kurt quote you highlighted said he’s the best big to come out of “college.” You responded by saying Dwight Howard is better … who never went out of college. So Kurt never said Davis is better than Howard.

Robinson wants to be close to his hometown of Washington, DC after spending three years in Kansas. A mock draft had him at #5 Sacramento. Charlotte’s at #2 and Washington at #3. Maybe he’s lobbying to be close to home in DC.

Davis was 6’2″ in the first few years of H.S. and was a P.G. so he has that skill too – then he grew real fast up to 6’10″. He is unselfish a good team player. He didn’t score much in the N.C. game but he did so many other things that it was a no-brainer who was the mvp. This clown Robinson seems like a real asshole.

Wow!! So he should just give up his competitive edge and stop lobbying for himself. I like what Robinson is doing, because fact of the matter NOBODY KNOWS who will be better 5 years from now. I bet in the 2003 draft the Pistons thought Darko Milicic would be a standout, drafting him over Carmelo, Wade and Bosh but look how that turned out. I’m not comparing Davis to Milicic, but until we see these guys in NBA uniforms on their respective teams they’re both rookies starting from ground zero.

He’s not as good as Dwight Howard was when he came out!!!! I need a “man amongst boys”.

I like him better than Thomas Robinson, but the lack of scoring and being awesome enough so his teammates could feed him the ball way more often (don’t worry!!! I’m not promoting selfishness!!!) should be a red flag.

Robinson is really starting to turn me off with his comments on Davis all the time. I feel for him with all the hardships he has gone through but he needs to make his case on his own merits rather than trying to downplay what Davis did. Davis was having fun with a shirt and this dude gets all serious. If you wanna check some stats for real then some dude from Appalachian St who lead CBB in scoring(sarcasm) would be the number one pick according to him. Lets face it. It took you 3 years to start on your team and become a good player. Davis only played one and did more than you. Plus he has room to improve. Get over it bro. He is just better. Maybe not the franchise savior that ppl are saying but still better.
