In theory Shaw would bring some form of the triangle with him, he could try to sell D12 on how the triangle revolves around having a good low post presence and how many touches he’ll get. He’s respected by players everywhere it seems. Also, it really boils down to who really is out there for the Magic as a big name coach? The biggest names would always be the Van Gundy brothers but don’t see that happening anytime in the next 4 lifetimes. Nate McMillan possibly, but haven’t even heard him interviewing here. I’d say having Shaw as your leading candidate is a good choice
