Boston won because their MVP was benched due to a horrible call. You know damn well that if James was on that court, the outcome would have been different. Regardless of the nad officiating, the Celtics still played hard and got the "w". Now its time to head back to Miami so they can get some home court love also from the refs.

Agree that Boston won the game. Disagree about Lebron. These writers excuse Lebron each and every time: "He made the right basketball play." Lebron was triple-teamed because he insists on driving to the basket in crunch time because he doesn't have the confidence to rise up and shoot that game-winning jumper. Sure, he'll take a wide open three that Wade passes to him, but that's different.

Jordan did not attempt to drive at the end of games. All he tried to do - and realistically so - was to create enough separation to rise up and shoot over his man and put a dagger in his heart. All the drives are great throughout the game, but you've got to be able to make a mid-range to long distance jumper at the end of games. It's because Lebron doesn't feel comfortable (or is incapable of) doing that that he drives and kicks at the end of games. He might make a few of them in his career (law of averages), but this will haunt him his entire career unless he develops confidence in his shot at the end of games.

Another homer sports writer line: "The Heat wouldn't even be in the game if it wasn't for Lebron." Nobody is disputing that, we're talking about crunch time.

Really guy their D was so good they let up a twenty point lead... Celts played great D on the last possession of regulation to force overtime. Must be what you mean because just like the C's shot poorly in the second half which let Miami back in the game; then Miami shot poorly in the overtime and the C's won. Defense had nothing to do with it, the Celtics had 61 points at halftime and both teams shot 41 and 42 percent for the game. I think good defense was being played by all coupled with untimely bad shooting but saying the Celtics defense just overwhelmed everyone and destroyed the Heat is just factually wrong. Who had a hand in Wades face for the last shot in overtime? ... No one. He missed the shot... no great defensive stand. Just a missed shot. And just to make my point heat 6 steals, celtics 6 steals, heat 6 blocks, celtics 7, heat 17 to, celtics 15. Looks like defense was pretty equal the real story was hot shooting and hitting big shots when needed. And the Heat did not

Amazing the difference a couple centimeters make. Shot goes in (and it looked like it was going in), and the talk is how the Celtics blew a 20 point lead, at home, with LeBron on the bench. Think the word "choke" might come up?

And they almost blew the same type of lead, with the Heat playing terribly, in the 4th the game before.

It's all blah blah blah blah blah blah blah.
