(More than) a few years ago the Pacers (I believe) made a fuss about bringing in a young gun named Dudley Bradley, even trotting out a press offensive billing him as The Secretary of Defense. The first time they met George Gervin scored 63, and that was the last anybody heard of him.

Bryant ranked 81st in FG% this season. He was just a notch ahead of Rodney Stuckey. Laker fans might wish they could have Anthony Davis going forward instead.

The Kobe haters never cease to amaze me. Listen to most former players, coaches, or GM’s and they all list Kobe in their top10-15 players ever. And many list him in their top 5. But some clown with a smart phone who doesn’t know a pick and roll from picking his butt acts as if the Black Mamba is Antoine Walker!! Cut it out, haters, you’re only making yourselves look stupid. The Wizards were a mess for two decades before Jordan got there. They’re only becoming relevant because Leonsis cleaned house and changed the management philosophy. Not that you care about facts.

Jordan has learned. Rich Cho will make the trade and net them two first round picks, and they will get Robinson and possibly Rivers and begin building inside out, as they had neither the past two years.

Only stat geeks care about field goal percentage. Being willing to take them is another story. The greats say “it’s not how many you take, it’s how many you make.”

You young brainwashed-by-the-NBA-hype-machine types think the higher the FG%, no matter how the shots were obtained, makes you great.
