This may just be a lame attempt at a show of respect towards their current opponent, a ream of mostly aging veterans who, when healthy can beat anyone.

Unfortunately as everyone knows, they’re being held together with duct tape at this point and have made it this far on heart.

The NBA is cheap though, they don’t reseed so they can get all the flights and everything in order as soon as the playoffs start.

If they reseeded, they would have to wait till certain series were over, and it would cost more.

The NBA needs to reseed after each round. How a 2 vs 3 and a 5 vs 8 somehow got paired in the 1st place doesnt make sense.

Consensus belief had the Bulls making it to the Eastern Finals barring an injury to their MVP Rose, and the 76ers lost game 1 of this past series by a hair, and they came dangerously close to embarrassing this up-and-down Celtics squad.

I believe these 2012 playoffs are showing that some new teams will be making their way into the upper-echelon of the league and I love that. A team from Oklahoma City winning the NBA title? I think so..
