Here’s the homer trade of the year, from a Mavs fan trying to cling to hopes of Dirk, Deron and Dwight in Dallas:

Mavs get: Dwight Howard
Magic get: Chris Bosh, Roddy Beaubois, 17th pick
Heat get: Shawn Marion, Lamar Odom

This would, of course, be dependent upon the Heat not winning again and deciding that they need to part ways with Bosh and balance out the supporting cast. With Odom, you have the option of keeping him or buying him out for cap space to fill in your team with more quality depth.

Of course, Miami would never go for this trade, but the other two might. Bosh might be as good of a player as Orlando could hope for in a trade. Now everyone tell me how stupid this is.

something is cooking down in houston.. you heard it here first the rockets are gonna be in play for howard.3 1st rd picks in draft this year and multiple players to move.howard has trained in houston last 2 off seasons and even though yao ming isnt htere anymore the houston market has the gateway to the china media market still..heck tracy mcgrady just got a new commercial over there and he isnt even a rocket anymore..lots of money out of china,!! anyways whether its a one year rental remains to be seen ,but the rockets will be in play…

Denver fan here. Trade Lawson, Chandler and McGee for one year of Howard. Miller, Gallinari, Afflalo, Faried and Howard is a title contender. Pray you win, so maybe Howard stays.

If you lose and he leaves, hope that Mozgov gets a lot better and find a point guard in the draft (ah, who am I kidding, they’d be screwed).

In the greatest trade in NBA history, Orlando trades it’s entire roster to New Jersey for their entire roster.

The move makes both teams happy due in part to pissing off both disgruntled stars. In other news, Dwight Howard ask that Billy King and Avery Johnson be fired.

Congrats to PBT on your 1,000,000th “Dwight Howard is getting traded/Dwight Howard has requested to be traded/Orlando has decided to trade Dwight Howard” post! I’m fully expecting it to hit 2,000,0000 before anything ever ends up actually happening here because it seems to be that a segment of the blog & media that are lobbying for Dwight in Brooklyn keep releasing these “a trusted source” things & sites like this eat them up. You’d think by now everyone would realize predicting what Orlando & Dwight Howard are doing is like trying to have a conversation with a cat. Pardon my skepticism but that tends to happen when reports like this have been wrong for a solid year straight now. Unless for some illogical reason Orlando got rid of the GM Howard wanted gone & the coach he wanted gone only so they could decide to also get rid of him before their new GM can even approach him about his plan to build the team. This seems like if I decided to make lasagna for dinner, bought the pasta, the sauce, the meat & cheese, put it all in the pan & then decided “You know what I could end up burning this, I think I’ll just order a pizza” and tossed the unbaked lasagna in the garbage.

I could have sworn that Dwight and Wade were the ones who really wanted to pair with eachother all along… and Wade just didn’t have the heart to tell Lebron and Bosh “no” when they begged to join him.

I look for Wade and Dwight to pair together once Lebron is denied a ring yet again!
