Bottom line is this: The Heat were down. The entire basketball watching world was killing them, writing the entire last two years off as a big failure. Pacers were feeling really good about themselves. They had the Heat on the ropes, at home, with a huge size advantage over Miami with Chris Bosh out. Suddenly the Pacers were the favorites, and everyone started expecting them to win.

And Heat responded. In a big freaking way. In every way. Total domination. No mercy.

What more can a fan ask for at this point? It’s the second round. You don’t win a chamionship in the second round, we all know. But the response to the loss in Game 3 has been exemplary. A model for all franchises in every sport.

But as we know, the 4th win in a series is the toughest, and I like the odds of the Heat’s treating Game 6 with the appropriate level of intensity and execution.
