PBT Extra: Talking Magic, Celtics, Durant in clutch, and Lakers

We were all over the map today on PBT Extra — from Stan Van Gundy’s firing and what it means to the Magic, to the Lakers next steps.

As for Durant being clutch, he is good late in games. He’s also great in first, second and third quarters. The best players at the end of games are the best players early in games, and if they get double and triple teamed at the end of games then the guy open next to them can knock down the open jumper. Ask Steve Kerr and John Paxson and Derek Fisher and Robert Horry and… you get the idea. Lately we are far to focused on who is a “closer” and not on who can just play the game.

I think this NBA playoffs is the Spurs to lose, they are too experienced and too deep not to win. I’m not a Spurs fan but I think they are just the best team. btw please check out my blog!!!

OMG, LOL! ROFLMAO! Please, stop it, you’re killing me. A top-3 NBA Superstar agreeing to play in a little boondocks market? That’s hilarious. Thanks for that, I was having a rough morning but your really managed to lighten it up. You’re the best.

If Indy manages to nab him, enjoy going through the same nightmare Orlando went through last season, only you’ll end up losing him for peanuts.

sad the magic had to let SVG go for whatever reasons. the question is, will the next coach be better? i don’t think so…i’m sure SVG will find a great place to coach…maybe somewhere like…(read below!)

the C’s are rolling along. amazing how this “old” team has a great shot to get to the finals…again.

KD is a stud. easily top 3 in the game today. OKC should be thanking their lucky stars Portland grabbed Oden instead…

well…as a Laker fan, i’m part of the contingent that some trades needs to be made. I can see gasol being moved but we gotta get some athletic rising star in return (sportscenter mentioned Iggy from philly…i’m cool with that). also, a few of the bench guys, if possible, gotta be moved…namely Blake (he plays scared and is extremely hesitant). i would actually be okay if Brown was let go for a guy like…. SVG!!!!!
