Video: Andre Iguodala buries Celtics at end of game

May 19, 2012, 11:57 AM EDT

For years, Philly fans have been asking Andre Iguodala to step up. Well, here you go.

Down the stretch he knocked down a beautiful stepback jumper and then a dagger three to secure the Sixers Game 4 win, tying the series up at 2-2. Both are strong, confident plays from a guy who can step up and play like one of the game’s true elites, and did when it mattered Friday night.

Perfect timing at the start of the clip showing the Phils starting to turn it on and beating the red sox for their 6th straight. Unfortunately, it seems like every 6er win has been Boston shooting themselves in the foot :( Still hoping for a miracle though. We HAVE to start moving on offense! Everyone is standing around!

I will admit that was a cold blooded 3 and they were clutch at the end but u have to admit the refs gave them that chance with all the bad calls

philly fans haven’t always been fair to AI and this includes myself. mostly because he isn’t the “star” that we want him to be. but ever since the olympics he has been a different player. yes he isn’t James, or Rose, but he is a better defender than the lot of em and now he has proven that he can be clutch! good job AI!

It’s all Stefanski’s fault that the majority of Philly fans feel the way they feel. 14mil a year is ridiculous and Philly expects a star player to come along with that contract. You can’t blame iggy for signing it though. I would definately keep Iggy around next year but get rid of Elton “2 pts, 3 reb” Brand. Theres alot a team can do with an extra 18 mil.

True. I’m a 76er/ Philly guy. Iggy was on my last nerve. It takes 1 moment or series to cement yourself in Philly sports honor list I.e Matt Stairs. If Sixers win this series. Iggy makes the list.
