As soon as I heard Kobe say this I went right over to my 12 and 10 year old brother and told them, look boys this is what being a man is all about, the passion to succeed and win in sport or life, you have to have an edge and never back down from anything.

Would much rather quote a life lesson from Kobe to them even with harsh language as opposed to tellin them to look up to one of these younger generation NBA players who are walking around rockin backpacks and lenseless glasses would rather be chillin at the crib playing video games as opposed to goin hard 24/7

Jordan or Kobe? No disrespect to Kobe, but Jordan never played with a dominate inside force like Shaq. Kobe excelled because of Shaq and vice versa. I would rate Jordan slightly above Kobe.

Ok I respect Kobe but I’m tired of lakers fans only defense of him is “count the rings” it is a team sport! They are more Phil Jackson rings than they are Kobe, no other coach can seem to win with the almighty Kobe Bryant. By laker fan logic if you have more rings you must be a better player! So Steve Kerr must be just as good as Kobe because they both have 5 rings? Robert horry must be better than Kobe and jordan because he as 7 rings!
