yo we gotta dust off Tony Douglas, the problem with Tony was the last coach dick D’antonee, did not use Tony properly played a lot of 2g when he should have been learning to lead and if you can’t setup STAT then you are useless.

At this point, there is no up-side to having Lin start. Jeremy is recovering from surgery and has only been working out recently. He has hard zero minutes of play for over a month. There’s no way he’ll be able to play for full minutes just now, and I’d imagine the risk of re-injury is high at this point in his recovery. Why would the Knicks risk playing Lin now? Presuming they are going to re-sign him for next season (and I really hope they do), he needs to go through a full training camp, get even better and be there for the Knicks in the 2012-13 campaign.

You seem to be a Knicks fan…can you tell me what happened to T. Douglas? Seemed like he had some nice moments as a rookie and the beginning of this year. Did he really fall off that much? I was wondering yesterday why he sits at the end of the bench now.

More to the point: Lin’s not coming back. Why risk injury on an early return when, realistically, the Knicks won’t be advancing? If it was Game 7, maybe. Still needing 3 wins? Don’t see it.

Melo is fine bringing the ball up. He may actually pass it more often since the Heat will converge on him. JR can’t keep having these 3-15, 4-18 nights because he’s gonna have open looks, as the only other guy who can create his own shot.

Our chances are slimmer than most runway models, but anything can happen. Lin just needs to rest for next season and have a full training camp. He ain’t making a difference in this series. Baron isn’t a HUGE loss with his turnovers and bad defense, but I feel for him and that knee. We miss Shump more than anyone.

JR can bring the ball up and initiate things also, but the minute Toney Douglas steps on the floor we will OFFICIALLY be gone fishin’.
