bulls win with rose, but sixers with with lebron. neither team has those players now so its pointless to argue. the bulls as of now are not playing well. boozer is horrid, and everyone else is a role player. they can still beat us though because sixers are mediocre, an erratic team that made its mark by beating bad teams.

that said, we have seemed to have the bulls number the last few years.

First off I’m not a Bulls fan in the least bit. I’m just stating my observations. Bulls would’ve won this series in 4 or 5 with Rose. To say the Sixers have looked more balanced once Rose went down isn’t much to hang your hat on. You can’t wait for a player to go down to start being more balanced, as you say. And Of course the Sixers will win this series. They still are an underachieving team like I said in my first post.

Game 1 was one game. They also won game one of the ECF last year, and looked really good doing it. We all know how that ended…

Fact is, the Bulls are over-rated, even when healthy. The Sixers would’ve taken them to 6 or 7 games even with Rose in. And they would have been trounced in 5 in the ECF against the Heat, just like last year.

Bulls fans talk so much crap but at the end of the day, they got beaten handily last year by a clearly superior Heat team, didn’t get any better since last year, and now will lose in the first round against the 8 seed. Most Bulls fans are actually happy that Noah is injured – it gives them another excuse for why they are going to lose this series. Face it, once Rose went down, the Sixers have looked more balanced and have shown superior offensive playmaking ability. Noah or no Noah, Sixers in 6.

Right about now, you have a better chance of dying in Philly than you do in Afghanistan. It’s the Wild West out here, man. And I’m not talking about you specifically; I mean anybody.

As for the fan argument, Philly fans have earned the rep we’ve been given. That said, I’ve yet to encounter a fan base from any city that didn’t act the same way. The legends of the Santa Claus incident and the Boo Birds just keep the focus on Philly. Hope Noah’s ok, and out there for Games 4+. If the Sixers want to be able to say they earned the series win, they need to at least do it against the version of the Bulls that was pretty damn good without Rose for a large part of the season.

The Philly stereotype is such a joke. People like you and the mass media just love to point out how a select few will tarnish the reputation… like when we threw snowballs at santa (yea that one never gets old), or Booed Donovan Mcnabb when he was drafted (yea that never gets old either)…. but they fail to point out how when Noah was able to get up and walk off, the fans also cheered. They fail to point out how the Phillies have sold out over 200 consecutive home games, how passionate the fan base as a whole is.
