How can that be a bad thing? Steph Curry gets hurt like what, once every 5 games and it would be nice to have that kind of insurence coming off the bench wouldn’t it? It would surely only be for a year and he would provide excellent veteran leadership, championship experience and winning ways to a young, inexperienced squad that knows nothing other then to lose. Seems like a perfect fit.

People who has been following Kidd’s career should know that on one hand he’s one of the most unselfish players on court, and on the other hand he’s one of the most selfish person off court.

I love watching Kidd play, but you’re right, there have never been this many talented PGs in the league at once!

CP3, Rondo, D-Will, Rose, Nash, Westbrook, Irving, Rubio, Parker, Wall, Jennings, and that’s just the beginning!

This doesn’t sound like Kidd. He’s said all year that he wants to take a back up role for about 2-3 more years. Why would someone that says they WANT a back up role, expect to get “paid?” Doesn’t make sense.

Kidd has been through a divorce which cleaned him out.

Best guess Is he will take whatever is offered because though he wants to be a front office guy in the NBA he doesn’t come off as the sharpest tool in the door. Note: great players often make horrible GM’s.

It’s a negotiatingly ploy by a guy who probably didn’t invest his money well.

But, if true…go ahead and quit, there are many younger players ready and willing to take his roster spot.
