bench should be russ harden iggy durant love. small ball to the max. floor would be so spread out. everyone can hit 3′s. cp3 can get everyone in foul trouble since international ball embraces flopping too.

Harden is a great addition to the team. The consummate team player that does everything well. He can beat his guy off the dribble, goes hard to the hole, knocks down his foul shots, extraordinary passer, can hit the three, defends well . . . and he brings energy off the bench. Will provide the chemistry necessary to bring a TEAM together rather than just a collection of stars.

I agree with this post but Durant needs to play more minutes then Bosh. Bosh can start but Durant should get Starters minutes.

Leave Blake Griffin off (Can’t hit a consistent jump shot or play defense). The team should be: CP3, Kobe,Wade, D-Will, Westbook, LeBron, Durant, Melo, Bosh, Love, Chandler and the Uni-Brow.

Starters: CP3, Kobe, LeBron, Bosh, Chandler then bring in D-Will for CP3 and Wade for Kobe, Durant for LeBron and Melo could play the 4 position, Love or Uni-brow can play 4 or the 5 positions based on who their opponents have on the floor. Westbrook will sub in through out the game at the 1 and 2 positions.

The only country that will compete is Spain with the Gasol brothers, Serge Ibaka and company. But not having Rubio and Rudy Fernandez will hurt them as well. Team USA should be able to win the GOLD with no problems! I personally can’t wait, it’s gonna be fun to watch!

how is he ineligible? He was selected for the 2000 Sydney games but got a knee injury and couldn’t play and he did play on the 2004 team that got the Bronze, I felt sorry for him on that team.

Yes, looking at that talent pool, I too feel like it’s very slim pickings for the USA team. I mean how are we going to beat Spain? They got the weak pau gasol AND the fat pau gasol. When they’re on the court at the same time they make one complete, well rounded, player. Stiff competition indeed.
