Really hoping for Spurs/Lakers in the WCF. That way no matter who wins, I don’t have a problem rooting for the West in the Finals. As a Laker fan, I’d obviously like to see Kobe go for 6, but the Spurs and their fans have such class that it’s impossible to hate them. Hard to say that about any other team or fanbase.

As a Carolina fan, I always thought Danny was underrated. What he lacked in talent, he made up for with heart and a fierce work ethic. He was one of my favorite Tar Heels when he was in Chapel Hill, and I’m glad to see all his work is paying off this season. He’s getting (and apparently) earning substantial playing time and it couldn’t make me happier.

Just Danny? Damn, everyone looks good. Even Diaw despite carrying way more weight than he should be. Manu was a total non-factor and they won by close to a billion. This is FUN!

As a Spurs fan, that was fun to watch!

Even though we won pretty easy in game 1, I wasn’t too thrilled with the performance. I couldn’t help but think that outside of Parker that kind of effort wouldn’t be enough against the elite teams.

If they play like they did tonight though, Timmy will finally get some jewelry for his thumb too.
