Agreed, Marlin. Jumbo needs to stop the sanctimonious b.s. If anyone should be ashamed, its him. He sent his kid out without any guidance as to what is appropriate and what is not (hint: spamming every blog post to promote your own is, indeed, poor form as evidenced by the nearly unanimous negative reaction to it).

Even so, he still just doesn’t get it. He thinks the issue is the quality of his sons blog (“forward me your blog”?) as opposed to understanding why everyone was frustrated with his son’s posts.

Get a clue.

Looks like Rose made the right choice to me.

This is such a non story and is indicative of whats wrong with today’s media. They cant report on any substantive material so they go to old faithful. Old faithful in this case is the moral high ground to which so many of you subscribe.

Some guy made a joke, it wasn’t particularly a good one, but it was a joke. He didnt make fun of Rose’s injury and he didnt wish him harm. Whats the big deal and why should he delete his tweets? There isnt a big deal this is another case of faux outrage.

Thing is if the same thing would have happened to LeBron or Howard I have a funny feeling that most of you outraged folks wouldnt give two shits about the tweets.

He didn’t tear his ACL on the jump, he tore it on the plant just before the jump. You can tell from how he favored his left leg in the air, during the jump, and then landed with barely any contact from his left foot on the ground.

Yes, people get injured all the time, but that’s really no reason to make a mockery of it, especially to try and plug your brand…of which, is about as guilty as most electronics giants for sub-standard working conditions, child labor, and what would be considered criminal wages and working hours in any developed country.
