Relax, Heat fans. No one is saying the Knicks would have won. The Heat outplayed them. You just hate to see a game where the refs seem to be so one sided. And you have to admit, LeBron did look pretty ridiculous acting like his neck was broken and then having such a great game like nothing ever happened. Just be a superstar and cut out the acting and nonsense. You would never see Wade, Kobe, Jordan, Magic, Bird, or anyone else I can think of run around the court for 5 minutes like Tyson had just bitten off his ear…

Knicks were taken out of this early by the refs. Early phantom calls on Amare & Tyson, plus no called fouls on MIA – of course MIA will win by 35. Notice how the refs eased up in the 2nd half? But it was too late – game was handed to MIA already.

So many guys sound like babies on here. James had ONE flop and now he is known as a player who always does this? Why was this never brought up in the million other posts about how he sucks, why only now is he being called out for flops? This board is getting as bad as espn’s, which honestly has some of worst people on the planet. NY got spanked, deal with it..and don’t you think if the game was rigged (which is a ridiculous) then the NBA would want NY to win, it’s only about 100 times the market that Miami is.

The heat made it look easy and that had nothing to do with the refs. The Knicks were smothered all game and played overly aggressive when they needed to play smarter and take the ball to the hoop. Not that it really matters though because this series goes 5 max anyways…the knickerbockers just dont have enough to beat the heat

Refs were an utter disgrace, on a good note, we can’t play any worse next game, come on Amare an Melo we need you guys.

Un-educated basketball fans.
Knicks were down 3 when the refs took over and basicly rendered Amare and Tyson useless, once they were down double digits it snow-balled.
NY’s domes were infected, can’t drive-wont get any calls and can’t touch the actress LeBron.

Playoffs are supposed to be more physical not some free throw fest and no I’m not a NY fan of any of their teams in any sport, just hate WWE type refereeing.

The Knicks looked like boys playing with men. The flopping is out of control and you can say all you want about LBJ flopping but he did incredible things on the offensive end also.

Chandler should have never been in this game. He was more of a hazard then help today and rightfully so being sick.

The heat were going to focus on Melo and made the other Knicks beat them. Amare is absolutely useless without a PG.

Injuries plagued this team and its just not possible for them to pull anything off. Knicks fans need to stop being knicks fans for once.

It’s easy to say the NYK “got outplayed” when the refs set the tone early allowing MIA to play without worries about getting called for a foul or being fouled. This was an absolute joke of a game – and the NBA should be embarrassed for this game. IM NOT A KNICKS FAN. IT WAS BLATANT.

JR Smith went to the hole three straight times early in the game, got hacked every time and no call. Melo got hacked several times under the basket and only got three calls. Don’t even try it. There was a ton of slanted officiating in Miami’s favor.

I don’t have a rooting interest in this game… There’s no doubt that Miami still would have won this game handily without any help from the officials. But it’s disgusting to see a player with so much talent and athletic ability (Lebron) have to totally flop and fake for calls. It’s disingenuous to the game of basketball, it makes a mockery of the game.

I don’t want to hear any complaining about the officiating in this game. The Knicks were down by 37 points at one point. That doesn’t happen due to officials, it happens because a team gets outplayed.

Carmelo finished the game 3-15 from the floor. Stoudemire was only 2-7. The Knicks had 13 turnovers in the 2nd quarter (when the Heat made their run) compared to the Heat’s 2. New York only shot 35%. 24 turnovers to 14 overall.

They got outplayed, simple as that.

I love all these pathetic Knicks fans. I can understand the complaints if the game was won by a few points, but it was won by 35 Points, 35. The knicks were getting blown out regardless of how the calls went. I admit there were some suspect calls but let’s be serious, the game wasn’t even close.

The tempo and flow of the game was set early….sneeze on Queen James and he will be going to the line. In game 2 the Knicks should at least get their monies worth and undercut him on a dunk (like Rick Mahorn use to do) or give him a hard Kurt Rambis like foul. It worked for the Pistons and Boston back in the day.

Love how the refs took over this game, had to turn it off with LeBron’s ridiculous acting, he never would have made it in Jordan’s era because Jordan was actually mugged by Detroit or NY back in the day.
