Enough with the condensed schedule and the injuries and the tanking — let’s get it on with some real basketball. Playoff basketball. If you’re not pumped for this, go listen to some Linkin Park and come back. Yea, I didn’t know Linkin park was making new music either, but there you go.

So you can set your electronic calendar to send you text reminders of when the games you want to see are, here is the full schedule for the first round of the NBA playoffs. Every series starts this weekend, either Saturday or Sunday, then the games start to spread out. The playoff schedule is slightly condensed this year for the NBA, again you can thank the lockout for that.

Miami and New York is a great first round series. The fans will be rabid for this one. Crowd intensity makes games so much better, PLAYOFFS!

I’m looking forward to seeing the Grizzlies and the Clips. My prediction is Grizzlies in 6. Unless Blake Griffin, DeAndre Jordan, Kenyon Martin and Reggie Evans all learn how to shoot free throws, the Clips’ playoff run ends here.

Yeah, baby! I have my Kobe Bryant Action Figures all set up in front of the TV in my parent’s basement! Time for Kobe to remind everyone of his greatness. What Kobe wants, Kobe takes.

I had the same thoughts about Linkin Park, they’re not my cup of tea, but way better than that lady singing Led Zeppelin songs last year.

  7. lemfax - Apr 27, 2012 at 6:40 AM

    Heat vs Spurs

If they both survived from Knicks(1stRd) & Grizzlers(2ndRd)

  8. southpaw77 - Apr 27, 2012 at 11:12 AM

See a lot of 3 days off in between games, NBA still taking near 3 weeks to finish the first round.
Don’t they have TBS, TNT, ESPN and ABC to show multiple games like the NCAA does? Overlap the games and start em an hour apart and get this first round done quicker.

  9. pistolpete0903 - Apr 27, 2012 at 11:18 AM

damn, not one OKC-Dallas game on ABC.
On the other hand, 2 games fro NY-MIA. Admitted, they are high profile, but the OKC-mavs series deserves some love.
And pray, why is game 4 of SA-Utah not scheduled on TV!!!!

  10. lemfax - Apr 27, 2012 at 9:20 PM

    Bulls 4-1
    Indiana 4-0
    Miami 4-3
    Boston 4-3
    Spurs 4-0
    Memphis 4-2
    Thunder 4-0
    Denver 4-3

    Bulls vs Indiana 4-2
    Miami vs Boston 4-2
    Spurs vs Memphis 4-2
    Thunder vs Denver 4-1

    Miami vs Bulls 4-2
    Spurs vs Thunder 4-1

Spurs vs Miami 4-3 (Wade would missed game 7)
