The standing ovation for him to come back in the game defines the word ‘authentic’.

I’m not a Suns fan but I have the most respect for Nash. I really do want him winning a ring because he absolutely deserves one.

Honestly, I don’t know who is in charge of running things in Phoenix, but they should of done more than rely on Nash + Grant Hill for the season.

He hasn’t indicated a predominating preference for: money, winning, or passing into the sunset.

Maybe he’d just like to play it out for a few extra bucks in Sun country. Or maybe his familiarity with Dallas might lead him to share a one-two geriatric punch with Kidd and the Mavs. Or maybe he’d like to spend his last year in the big market of the Big Apple, tutoring and eventually passing the round torch while picking up a little extra Lin-come.

I’d go with the former: it doesn’t sound like he has any top-of-the-mountain kind of drive left, in spite of the fact that his talent remains above average in this league.
