They really are awful I’ve sadly watched a few of their bloopers and it just shows how watered down the Associations talent pool is they are not the Charlotte Hornets of the 90′s.

This is completely MJ’s fault.
There is not one legitimate NBA starter on this roster (maybe besides for a healthy Maggette but that’s arguable at best). Mostly because MJ traded them all away.

I like both Kemba Walker and Biyombo – young competitive players but they simply do not have the top-tier talent needed to be effective starters. They’re great guys, just not good enough.
Same with DJ Augustin – solid backup PG material but not a starter.

The Bobcats literally have nothing. It will take them years to rebuild. Anthony Davis would be a start, but remember, he’s not exactly gifted on offense. He looks like a Dwight Howard, just not nearly as strong.

I really hope they get Davis and Cho can turn it around. It’s like the 0-16 Lions, more pathetic than funny.

i’d honestly have to say that out of all the teams that missed the playoffs, the ‘cats were the one team that probably didn’t intentionally tank, they were just that bad.

to be honest i was really rooting for the bobcats to win last night. to be the worst team in the L in a season is demoralizing enough but to be arguably the worst team of all time? ouch. I don’t really wish that distinction on them. its not like there are a bunch of unlikable guys on that team but i guess somebody has to be the worst.

demote the bobcats to the d-league and promote whoever wins this year’s d-league championship… either the d-fendors or the toros

If the bobcats can win the d-league championship next year, then they can get back into the NBA….if they don’t then, they would be stuck in the D-league until they can win a d-league title….

this idea would make the d-league more money and it would generate more interest in the lower tier franchises….

Sigh. MJ should have suited up tonight and tried to help avoid this distinction. At 50+ probably would have still led the Bobcats in scoring.
