Video: Tony Allen with the old Statue of Liberty fake pass

Apr 24, 2012, 2:19 AM EDT

Tony Allen, bringing a little And 1 tour to the NBA hardwood, having some fun against the Cavaliers. This was my favorite highlight of Monday night. And the touching ceremonies in New Jersey, but mostly this.

Thanks to NBA nba247365.com for sending this along.

My goodness, NBA refs are incompetent…clear double dribble. On last night’s SC top 10 they showed a Manu-Parker highlight where Manu caught the ball on the wing and took two steps without dribbling too. Why they don’t regulate the most fundamental rules of the game is beyond me…

That was not a double dribble. The first time was not a dribble.

Because giving a little leeway is what makes the NBA so fun to watch. All the FIBA compititions out there are cool and all but theres a reason why the NBA rates higher than the Euroleague
