if some non basketball individual thinks that STAT should be place on the trade block thats their problem. as for some big named coach coming here, who possibly could have done a better job than Mike Woodson who changed the culture of the club overnight. why we would not have even made the second season if not for the mid-season coaching change. if Grunwald does not see this then there are a still a great deal of front office problems.

Woodson will get the job. Dolan only likes splashy hires when there are no other options. Otherwise, he prefers to stay within, which is one of the few smart things that clown does right.

Woodson just has to have a respectable showing in the playoffs in order to get the job. Grunwald deserves the job, and all they really need to do is find someone else to play the 3/4 in the draft and the 8-9 man rotation is just fine. A full offseason and training camp and we’ll be in line for those top 3 spots in the East next year.

Oh and he brought in J.R. Smith too, but sure lets ignore all the positives he’s done, and write about how the Knicks may want Phil Jackson, Steve Nash and maybe even Kobe Bryant, Chris Paul, 2001 Shaquille O’Neal etc.

I have no idea if this article is to be taken seriously. As opposed to saying “.. Going after Steve Nash” how about, Grunwald was able to find Steve Novak for practically nothing. Signed Jeremy Lin, and also signed one of the favorites for defensive player of the year, Tyson Chandler all in one season. Each of those moves were pretty huge. Also, this current club seems to fit Mike Woodson’s “style” pretty well, considering they are 16-6 since he’s taken over, all the while winning during a “tough” stretch that you and others “experts” continued to discuss ad nauseam about a month ago.
