I first want to say that i hate this because I really like this team. I like the chemistry, I like the team play, I like the energy (from the beginning of the year at least), but unfortunately, that’s just not how the NBA works. A league like this does not allow for a team like this to win. They just can’t.

I want to see them give Evan Turner the keys. Tell him, this is your team, you are our point guard. He’s not only a very talented point guard, but also a match-up nightmare for any team.

With him at the 1 you have to trade Jrue Holiday. He’s not a shooting guard and there’s no sense wasting him there. Trade him while he still has value. Maybe other teams won’t notice the lack of growth.

I like Iguodala a lot, but this team has to rebuild and he’s our biggest asset. Trade him for the best deal you can get. We need draft picks. I’d take a deal similar to the Gerald Wallace deal.

Trade Brand if you can, but it’s not a must. Try to get an asset out of him, but don’t take on another long term deal. The best bet would be to trade him at the deadline for a worse player whos contract is also expiring, and a draft pick.

Lou is going to opt out and i can’t see them being able to afford him, so he’s gone. Hawes too. The last big piece is Thad Young, and while i like him as a player too, he’s just too valuable of a trade asset and we can get someone that is a better fit for a rebuilding team. He belongs on a contender.

i just hope they do something drastic.

2) As a Sixers fan, I would like to see a total transformation…
-Iggy can be traded for sure, he has value to a team that needs a defensive force.
-Brand makes too much money, is pretty old, and does so little, but if they could trade him for anything, that would be cool.
-Hawes was good, but not huge contract good, another cheap one year deal would be nice.

If that is the extent of the GM’s professionalism… that franchise may have a long road ahead
