Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh to rest Wednesday vs. Raptors

Los Angeles Lakers v Miami Heat

Thursday night the Miami Heat have a showdown with the Chicago Bulls. If the Heat have dreams of catching the Bulls for the top seed in the East, that is a must win game. Plus, they could use the confidence boost after the Bulls’ bench beat them in overtime a week ago.

To rest of for that game, the Heat’s Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh will not play against the Raptors Wednesday, reports Ira Winderman of the Sun Sentinel.

If you’re saying to yourself “it’s just the Raptors, the Heat will cruise” remember that it took LeBron James owning the fourth quarter, scoring the final 17 points of the game, for the Heat to beat the Nets just two nights ago.

Winderman adds that the Bulls are expected to go without Derrick Rose and Luol Deng Wednesday against the lowly Bobcats to make sure they are right for the Heat.

I don’t have a problem with teams resting their stars, especially during this crazy season. The Finals trophy may not go to necessarily the best team, but perhaps the freshest team.

Very true, but it sucks for the fans (live).. Atleast we are assured they will all be in action tomorrow.
